Volunteer Shifts & Tasks
Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Set-Up
- 7:00 AM: Arrive on site.
- Unload and organize sale items (tables, racks, signage, etc.).
- Arrange display areas for easy browsing (e.g., group similar items together).
- Confirm that any necessary cash box/change, price stickers, or signage is ready.
- Set up signage in the local area according to the provided map.
Shift 2: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Sales & Assist
- Greet shoppers, answer questions, and help them find items.
- Keep tables tidy and items well-displayed.
- Track sales and manage the cash box (ensure enough change is on hand).
- Refer any issues or concerns to the Lead Organizer.
Shift 3: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sales & Assist
- Greet shoppers, answer questions, and help them find items.
- Keep tables tidy and items well-displayed.
- Track sales and manage the cash box (ensure enough change is on hand).
- Refer any issues or concerns to the Lead Organizer.
Shift 4: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Tear-Down / Clean-Up
- 12:00 PM: Begin breakdown (no earlier than 12:00 PM).
- Pack up any unsold items.
- Clean the immediate area (sweep, remove trash, etc.).
- Remove signage from local area.
- Load items into vehicles for transport (if needed).
Shift 5: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Thrift Store Drop-Off
- Transport remaining unsold items to the designated thrift store or donation center.
- Ensure all items are properly documented or labeled (if required).
- Confirm that the donation area is left neat and organized.

Volunteer Shifts and Tasks
Shift 1 - 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Supply Pickup, Setup, & Outreach
Tasks:
7:00 AM: Pick up supplies from IE Headquarters.
Supplies can be picked up the night before. Call or text the Lead Organizer for the address.
7:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Arrive at the market and set up the booth by 8:00 AM.
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Engage in community outreach, sharing information about Inspiration’s Edge and upcoming events.
Shift 2 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: General Outreach & Booth Maintenance
Tasks:
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Continue engaging with market attendees, distributing materials, and answering questions.
Ensure the booth remains organized and stocked with materials.
1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Breakdown & Cleanup
Tasks:
1:00 PM: Begin booth breakdown (no sooner than 1:00 PM).
Pack up materials and ensure the area is left clean.
Return supplies to IE Headquarters.
